All Returning Nationals and Residents will be required to remain in quarantine (State Facility, COVID-Certified Accommodation Properties or Home Quarantine) for 14 days. Quarantine arrangements must be confirmed prior to travel at one of the following:
- Home Quarantine – First, applicants state requests and provide information of private housing facilities. Such properties are evaluated, and determinations are used to grant or deny Home Quarantine Status. ONLY upon receipt of approval will a candidate be considered as cleared for Home Quarantine. Travelers with no verified documents may not be able to travel or would otherwise be booked and charged for State Facility Quarantine. With precision, these are the required steps for applying to Home Quarantine:
- Home quarantine requests will only be acknowledged for completed travel application forms;
- Once the form is submitted, the Quarantine Team will receive it 24hrs later;
- The home assessment team will contact the person listed on the form to schedule a home visit and this will determine if the examined space is suitable.
- Suitable dwellings will be issued a letter of approval. Dwellings which fail to meet the standard will be issued a letter of rejection.
- If the listed contact person is unable to be reached via the details provided or if the person is unable to settle on arrangements for inspection made after three consecutive days, the application will be automatically rejected and the traveler will be given the option to reapply for a later date or select a different method for quarantine.
- State Facility Quarantine – Applicants must first book and pay a minimum of 9 nights stay at a State Facility listed property for quarantine.
